Asher was tormented for being small. For his religious beliefs. For the way he dressed. And for being gay. His bullies acted out mock gay sex acts in phys ed class.
As is growing increasingly typical, Asher’s mother and stepfather Amy and David Truong say they notified administrators at the Harris, Texas school about how their son was being taunted. They say it’s been a year and a half since they first alerted the school, but no action was taken. Calls to the school went unanswered. The school, meanwhile, says it never received any calls. School district spokeswoman Kelli Durham insists no students or teachers registered complaints, either.

I will comment that if I were his parent, the school system that did nothing - and by means of such allowed the bullying to continue and intensify - would burn.
At some point we - the people of this country that give half a fucking shit about seeing that people are treated like fucking people - need to stop asking “how much is enough?” and say “this is too fucking much!”
A 13 year-old boy just shot himself because he was bullied into feeling that life wasn’t worth living. Did anyone hear about his on the news? The Lohan bitch is high again and you hear nothing else. Anyone see a problem here?
